Celebrating Success: Year 7&8 Students Excel in UKMT Junior Maths Challenge

This year, our Year 7 & 8 students have demonstrated exceptional talent and achievement in the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge, a highly esteemed national competition for students in their age group.

Out of the 17 students who participated in the challenge, an impressive 15 received certificates ranging from bronze to gold, with an outstanding 9 students achieving the prestigious gold standard. Additionally, 6 of our students have secured qualification for the next stage of this esteemed competition.

This remarkable success speaks volumes about the dedication and hard work of our students, supported by the guidance of Mr. Roberts. Mr. Roberts leads a weekly Maths Club specifically designed to nurture our most talented mathematicians every Wednesday morning. His commitment, coupled with the enthusiasm and passion of our students, has truly paid off.

The UKMT Junior Maths Challenge is not just about solving problems; it's about fostering a love for mathematics and nurturing problem-solving skills. Our students have not only excelled in this competition but have also showcased their ability to think critically and creatively.

This achievement is a reflection of the dedication of our entire school community – from our talented students to our committed educators and supportive parents. We look forward to celebrating more successes and achievements as we continue to inspire and empower our students. Congratulations to all our Year 7 & 8 students who participated in the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge! Your hard work and dedication have truly paid off, and we couldn't be prouder of each and every one of you.
